Naw, efts are always bright red, are much smaller, have stubby tails and have dry looking skin. That is some type of woodland salamander. Maybe a slimy salamander or even a lead-backed salamander (the dark race of red-backed salamanders)

Ah Ok TY For the Information Koods! See I thought it was a salamander too, I will have to research it as one a bit from what you told me here  I really enjoyed filming it, video link above I think. If not ask Ill post it  I also found what I believe is a lungless salamander!

The one you photographed is almost certainly a lungless salamander. Lungless salamanders are usually long and slender like that one, and live out of the water for their entire lives, usually under logs and on the forest floor.

I found like 4 different types but none active and none new....actually I did find a blue staining bolete that I've been searching for, that was really cool. And where are you putting your "bonus stuff"? Or are you not posting those? Don't hoard the cool pics! Lol

Here's a red backed salamander I found last February. This individual is lead backed. About half the red backs in this area are of the lead (grey) variety.

I was fooling around with 3d photography at the time, so if you can cross your eyes right, the pic is 3d.

I take a quick series of photos, moving slightly to the right between each frame to simulate the offset between the two eyes. Then, I just compose the two images into one photo.

I made a whole thread full of my pics.

5. Prolly Plutorius sp.r angel wings dunno.

Shit. I've been eating those for the past month, thinking they were oysters. Oh well, they taste pretty good and I haven't felt any ill effects, so on the chance their edibility was unknown, you can call them edible now. I made a great tomato sauce with those the other day and nobody died.
