Possible? Found in mossy, grassy, damp woods. There was also many signs of man made disturbances in the area, it was about 50 feet from a main road and on the border of the forest.

Thanks for the confirmation, I thought they were not active as well because of their yellow stem and the absence of a little nipple on top.

What should have alerted you was
1. Habitat is wrong 2. Gill attachement is wrong 3. Color of every part of the mushroom is wrong. Stalk, cap and gills. 4. No bruising. 5. And if you were to check the spore color is wrong.
