Since i lost my camera in a river valley in Toronto while working (why didn't i just use the gaddam company camera), i'm trying to keep in mind that every phone is a decent camera.
Coprinus comatus

Suillus americanus

Paxillus involutus ?? (found under some pines--white maybe?)

thanks for looking.

Cool finds Sonny! I wanted to find some shaggies today but the only ones I saw were on people's lawns while driving around. No easy smash and grab opportunities.

The shaggy manes and paxillus were both found outside my office... hoping for a bunch to be waiting for me tomorrow. Too bad about dem lawn mushrooms, drive up here and we'll have a feast.
Also found some shaggies out on a site-walk with some clients. Picked them up and offered them to the terrestrial ecologists that were with us, even they had some fungi phobia.

I just lightly sautee them with salt, pepper, and sometimes chopped onion.
not very creative.

October 8, 2013 After a few moist days I felt like getting out. Sun was setting so i didn't get to walk around as long as i had hoped, perhaps many of these are just the same. Imma try to guess some of these but i definitely need help.
Was in a primarily deciduous forest with some pines scattered throughout. Was both in and out of a valley, looking on the floodplain, valley slope, and above the valley slope.
1. Armillaria?

2. Some sort of puffball??

3. Same as 1?

4. Flammulina velutipes

5. i donnno.

6. Galerina autumnulus

7. Again, i don't know
  8. Fungus on fungus action

9. Amanita?

10. Clitocybe?

11. Peziza praetervisa

12.

13. Mycena leaiana...or Hygrocybe?

14. Clitocybe?

15. These ones interested me, actually took them home. Didn't feel like wet shit like the first bunch of mushrooms i stumbled upon. I'll print these. Love gregarious ones that grow on moss like this... beauts IMO.

Here are a couple shots of where i was... roots on the birches were bananas.

Again, thanks for looking and any ID's.

Ooo thanks!
Is it possible that 12 are an Agrocybe?

Thanks Blu. So are we thinking edible Armillaria? I did notice they smelled a lil sweet. but could have been my upper lip for all i know (rather congested lately).
Here's some from today. MOAR PICS! Figure i'll just keep updating this thread rather than making a new one every day. Sorry if some pics are blurrry, still getting used to my phone macro function.
1. Leucoagaricus naucina

2. Not sure... thinking Clitocybe maybe

3. Bucketlist photo... got me one of dem pinecone dealies. Mycena?

4. Hypholoma sublateritium

5. Psathyrella

6. Dead mans fingers??? or something else.

7. I don't know. Was getting dark so i brought this one home to get a pic without using the flash. Found on a maple tree (don't know which species). Printing it right now. Took a beating on the way home somehow.
