Recent hunt. Are these psilocybe cyanescens?

Some wavy caps brown top white stipes. dry not slimy. smaller ones are all we could find. found in edge of field in grass and near a river and woodland area. Awaiting spore prints now. pics up soon.

Usually I do not find actives in several diff locations in one day... lets see those pics.
Also try to record what type of medium they were growing out of, also much more info.. read the mushroom id sticky well.
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Sorry lost internet. They were growing in the same area. We found them near a river. Ground was moist growing ina field next to the river. In dirt and mostly under dead grass. Here's one pic.

One more thing they look exactly like pictures I have seen of them. Just needing to make sure I know a lot of shrooms have look a likes

Well the answer to that is relative. You seem to think they look like P. cyans, so to you they are a look-alike. But to any experience hunter they are way off. WAAYYYY off.

It doesn't matter what spore print they have, those are not cyanescens or anything else that you would want to eat. I have been picking P. cyanescens for years, as have many others here. We aren't trying to be assholes or put down your find, we want to help you so you don't hurt yourself or someone you care about.

No reason for OP to not take a spore print, it's always good practice.
