I think that it is the ideal way to learn A LOT about yourself and other... on 2g or so, not a +5 dose of course..
Communication is fucking great when tripping, no worries about attitude and ego!
Im pretty used to it now, maybe I'll go to a concert or something in the future, I'm so convinced I can't get a bad trip!
So.. what do you guys think of tripping in public?
btw.. it's also cool to know that nobody knows you are trippin' while trippin'..

I've never tripped in public but I think I could enjoy a low dose(2g). But we(in the Netherlands) don't need to worry to get busted., but Amercians can get busted and that's not a nice thing to know while tripping.
Where did you trip in public?

That's true... it isn't a nice thought to think you get busted..
I tripped in public in a bar, walking through the city, and in my own village, well the first time I was in public while tripping I had the feeling everybody was staring at me.. that was pretty annoying..
I think you must do it a few times before you know how to behave in public, a friend of me tripped for the first time and he said "I don't know how to express my face when I look at someone"

I don't think i will ever do it..
I want my trips to be special in a differend way..
And in Holland people stare a lot.. So i get nuts when they do also..
And i don't want to be feeling bad during a trip..

I have done Acid in public a couple times at a bar, but never Shrooms.
I allways feel too selfconscious on Shrooms. Like people are aware that i am tripping. But then again i am usualy doing 3-4 gram doses. Which is a heavy dose to me.
I think if you keep it mellow and are with some good friends it would be cool..

I tripped in public as in I tripped at nightclubs before.I have no problem with it. I love to loose myself in the music and the general roar of the crowd.

I love tripping in public, but im weird like that. I attract attention naturally, perhaps being in public will kick me in the ass oneday. Im talking like...Downtown, or in a busy park or something. Concerts and such arnt fun for me while tripping, bad atmosphere.
However, i think a person would learn much more about themselve's and other people aswell as break down ego and communication barriers MUCH better with MDA or MDMA.

I have always tripped at night in public....The only problem I find is that I'm very honest...I'm Bi- so I find myself flirting with the hot chicks..hey there is nothing better than a hot chick flirting with other hot chicks... RIGHT?
Tripping is the best I love it.....

Tripping in public can be quite rewarding, and interesting... My third trip was on Brand Blvd. in Glendale, California. Eating the mushrooms in my parents '82 benz with Doreen, John, and Jay with a bottle of warm snapple was tough to take in the heat of the afternoon sunlight slanting through the car windows.
After dosing, we headed to the Baja Fresh restaurant to get some food since we all hadn't eaten in a long while and wanted to have energy for the upcoming adventure. Around the time the meal concluded, the black and white checkerboard floor tiles started to bulge and breathe and I knew it was time to get out of that place.
From there, we headed to a theater to get tickets for "Where the Heart Is" - and to this day I still couldn't tell you what the movie was about. I was stuck wispering things to Doreen, who was sitting next to me, at the same time trying to hold in the almost uncontrollable urges to burst out in insane laughter for no real reason. Perhaps it had something to do with watching my friend Jay, who was in the isle seat - and periodically got up to stretch and even lay down in the center of the walkway 
... meanwhile John was intensely enthralled with the film and we did not see him for about another hour. Needing to get out of there, Doreen and I went to the restroom. I had finished quickly (it seemed), and (it seemed) had to wait forever on the bench outside for D while theater personnel stared at me from the ends of the long hallways... she did finally emerge and we decided to head to the exit. Jay met us at the door, aparently having decided to leave the theater, but the door closed just before we could say anything. We had no way of opening the door from the outside of the theater, and Jay had obviously become preoccupied with something else so we didn't concern ourselves with it further 
Leaning against the brick wall of the MANN marketplace cinema, Doreen and I begin to get close but before we knew it there were quite a few people watching us so we decide to take a walk. Heading south on Maryland Dr, all the trunks of the trees that lined both walkways and the center divide had small white christmas lights spiraling up and into the branches... quite a sight just as the sun went down and the shrooms we slamming us with full force.
Then it happened. By some mysterious coincidence, Jay met us at the crosswalk signal at the end of the block, having left the theater through an exit on the other side and walking around the opposite side of the block. It was almost too much to take, until John showed up in similar fashion a short while later 
When all was said and done, we laid out in the grass across the street from Tower Records/Good Guys (on the same block as Lamps Plus) and reminiced about the experience while dreaming of future rendezvous with the magical mushroom.
For being in public, it was surprisingly easy to handle.. maybe it was because I was younger (I'd wager to say 17 or 18 at the time) and wasn't as preoccupied with how I presented myself. In any case, it was one of the best experiences of my life which will not soon be forgotten.
It's up to you what you want to do. Just be cautious and aware of what you're getting yourself into ~ a game plan doesn't hurt either

Got busted by cops while tripping on shrooms, yeah its not the most fun thing, luckily I took control of the trip and the cops couldnt tell I was tripping. Really made me paranoid for a while afterwards, so I stopped growing. You know how shrooms bring out wierd facial expressions in people you look at? The head cop looked normal but when they put me in the backseat of the cop car, and the backup arrived they looked like hyenas running to get a piece of the kill. Oh ya I got a mugshot while shrooming and I probably have a big grin on my face. hehe
The Iraq war protests were fun, tripping on acid in the middle of a huge mass of people, all of them chanting for peace! Definitely the best LSD trip I've ever had, not the highest dose tho...

I tripped at wild rivers, you might have seen the thread. It seemed like everyone was an actor making the trip cool intentionally. That was my best 2g trip ever. What I woudln't give to go back in time to my peak that day

I hippyflipped at Lollapalooza, and for the most part I had no problem, but when I went outside the main stage area, it was too crowded, and I started having a bad trip. I snapped out of it when I went back onto the lawn. So tripping in public is fine, as long as it's not too crowded.

man thats amazing.. dos no one else get lethargic? shrooms make me 'tired' physcially and i get sealegs on them which make it hard to walk...
LSD neevr did that to me, but it's been almost 8 years since i did LSD and i can't remember much about those trips other than the comedown
