    #18938470 - 10/05/13 11:42 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

So as of lately i have become real bored with my day to day life and wanna get a new start maybe move somewhere and even do something new. But my question to you guys is do any of you guys have experience with starting anew or becoming bored with the mundane? Any tips you would like to give are greatly appreciated.

if you go do something different, try to save as much money up as you possibly can before you do it.

Move to a new country for a while. WWOOF'ing, couch surfing, workx, etc. can be helpful for getting started if you are low on funds.

Being stagnant for too long is not healthy. If you feel like change than do it. Or be complacent I honestly dont care.

Still need to hit up portland got quite a few good friends to go visit.

I've moved literally about ten times since I turned 18, I'm 24 now. My advice would be to change your lifestyle, rather than moving. Unless it's absolutely necessary to move like if you find a cheaper, better place to rent, or closer to freinds or something like that. If your bored with life, moving won't change things for long you'll find the same problems somewhere else sooner or later I think, at least that's my experience.

I've been thinking of moving again lately  even though I've only been in this place for like 4 months. Mostly because I'd like to find a cheaper place to live, but I don't think I'll move now unless it's to a new city entirely, I'm sick of moving man.

I feel you on that dude, but really OP if you have a life and friends and family then i dont think its worth it, that is if their real friends if not i say fuck it pick up and leave what is there to loss? ive moved my whole life, met some cool people along the way but honestly nobody's ever gunna stay in your life forever, my opinion is better to leave then to be left, and not in a relationship way.

Have you ever read "The Rum Diary" by HST? If you haven't you totally should because it immediately came to mind when I read this post.

I started slowly this year, by finding one thing I enjoy, that gets me good exercise, so, I bought a nice new BMX, and had blast this summer!

It was a simple addition, but an effective one.

Now, winter approaches, and I need to find something to replace it with! As well as plan for the spring, and summer.

there is no point in changing everything.  You will still be trapped in this existential nightmare we call reality.  Your time on shroomery should already tell you that the only way to ever feel like a new man is to do a lot of drugs.  As you get older, your preference will be more inclined to uppers because hallucinogens will make you focus on all the stupid shit you did in the past.

Just do uppers, you'll grow to love organizing your receipts and making grocery lists.

When your daily life appears to follow the same course it had followed the day before, or indeed many days before the day before, you would be most adviced to look for something new to put your existence into.

I know my uncle used to always put himself into new situations, situations that previously hadn't been revealed to him except in some vague premonition for the following day to follow, and he would derive a sense of pleasure from this thing happening.

My wife recently discovered that she was also in this same world, she felt she had someone involved herself into a situation that never changed, a world that was distinctly familar and in no way would allow her to ever place herself into something completely different from herself ,she knew that this was in some ways somtehing which became to her her immeidate reality which wasn't disposed t obe ignored on account of all the impending doom which entailed the utterance which she had known would have accompanied her into the halls of the gkopfskgpoj and because she was prone to trying to disrupt anything that was the "same" she would put herself into a world that shee couldn't understand...

The only tip I can give you is to try and explore the multifarious dimensions that surround the mind, there are so many secret corners of the mind which some people are wholly unfamilar of, and really the mind, (if you are a soliphist) is the only thing that truly counts...

I don't think we give enough credit to how our minds can open us new connections to things so unique, things that are almost unimaginable, that to ignore the possibilities of the mind would be absurd...Then again, once you've spent so much time in your mind, with all these thoughts, thoughts which follow new thoughts which seem neverending and disturbing, you can get discouraged and annoyed by the influx of so many dull thoughts.

Maybe you could move to France. I've been living in France for years, its become my everyday. I proudly display my French flag to all that will view it, and even if they don't ask to be shown it I will still show it to them regardless. I could probably speak about france all day, its become an overwhelming obsession with me.

When I first moved to France I saw this man whom was outside a gas station with a large map of all of France. He seemed really absorbed in trying to discern where he was in France, since, as we know when we first move to a foreign place we are prone to getting lost, not knowing right from left, not knowing if what we are seeing is real or not. So sometimes we will ask someone to show us around france so we can get around better, a guide whom might, from living in France for so long be able to take us by the "hand" and guide us to the place we should be...
