I'd like to do the same. I'm central AL, think I should sew around the same time? Will they survive the winter? This will be my first time...

I have been prepping. I wanted to do an all out bumper this year , but it looks like it will be fairly average. I think I lost my best strain. I had the seeds in the fridge and some moisture got into them and they molded. That and my original partner died and my sposed new one is so non punctual it's ridiculous. <snip> You know where the marketplace is

I'm planning on prepping a spot once I get finished with moving, I have a ton of strains to play around with.... I kinda want to use this year to find my heavy producers so that I can plant a few heavy producers together and develop my own strain.... it'll take a couple years but I'm determined

Is it necessary to have a dry winter?

well naum to tell the truth no clue ,i don't think a light sprinkle well harm anything to much ,but too much rain before sprouting and your seeds will wash away and to much ran when they sprout and they'll die so i prefer a dry winter over a wet one.
