How do I meditate? Please speak from personal experience not something you read.

Relax and sit down. Lights out. Close your eyes and listen to your breathing. Do not consciously breath, just let the breaths come as usual. Listen to your breath and keep all thoughts out of your head, only listen to your breath. For the first 10mins random thoughts will come and go, materialize then vanish, just keep breathing until you no longer think thoughts.
Make this a daily practice.

It is said that just by sitting straight the channels open up and the energy flows. Sitting straight and relaxed in cross legged fashion is itself the first meditation. Merely sit well.

This ^^^ except I don't think it's necessarily about keeping thoughts out of your head.
Just become the observer, observe the thoughts as they come and go. For example, if the thought "I'm hungry" pops into your head, don't become that thought, just watch it and you'll find it will disappear quite quickly on it's own and leave you in peace. If you buy into however, you'll start to believe that you are hungry, and that you need to eat. Then you'll start thinking sbout what you can eat etc and before you know it you are lost in thought.
Just observe, and peace will happen naturally.

Tomorrow, when resurrection comes, The heart that is not in love will fail the test. ~ Rumi The day we start giving Love instead of seeking Love, we will have re-written our whole destiny. ~ Swami Chinmayanada Saraswatir

Repeat "I am" over and over in your head. When your thoughts wander bring it back to the mantra. You shouldn't be thinking into it... thoughts such as "what is happening," "am I doing this right," etc aren't the mantra. Eventually you can get a rhythm with your breaths, you will relax, breath deep into the belly. It's very simple.

There are a lot of different ways to control the mind. A simple one is to put your attention on awareness of the breath. I pray "Lord Jesus Christ" on the in breath "have mercy on me" on the out breath.

you have to keep your subtle system clear with Sahaja Yoga techniques but to meditate you just sit down and let your attention settle and let go

Lots of good thoughts here. I want to add two different things.
First, finding a (good) teacher can actually be really helpful. In my experience, they help create a good space that can sometimes allow you to fall into a meditative state more easily. This isn't an option for everyone, but if you can find someone that's not just trying to take your money, it can speed up your ability to find the right space for the practice.
Second, and more importantly.. I love the phrase "meditation without exertion". I think this is really important for the beginning of meditation practice. Thoughts, discomfort and general restlessness WILL happen when you first try meditation. It's really important to accept this and not fight against or resist your thoughts. As mentioned above, don't allow yourself to -become- those thoughts.. see them for what they are and let them pass. I find it's really helped to focus on the space between those thoughts. As you practice more, that space will grow larger and larger.
Focusing on the feeling of life in the body has also been hugely helpful for me personally. Feeling the sensation that underneath thoughts and urges, there is simply the "buzz" of life, in every organ, every cell.
Everyone learns differently. Find the way that works for you. Best of luck <3

Sitting in nature and letting the meditation come to me ;P
sometimes with crystals at home , helps relaxing and focusing on a point
sometimes at home when I feel like it, look at surroundings/close eyes focus on a point/breathing sometimes or expect nothing.. don't always meditate the same way personally
sometimes lucid dreaming, if you can call that meditation, 1-2hrs relaxation laying down with no thoughts, then it's possible to separate sometimes.. like it as much as meditation
I like guided meditations+crystals too
never learned meditation though, just do it my way
meditation in nature is the best meditation I've tried... try it :-) sit in the grass, observe, close eyes guided meditations can be really effective sometimes too

People often don't discuss oral sex meditation. But if you're of age and consenting then oral sex is a perfect balance of concentration, empathy, and intuition, and all in the service of another. Next time you wish to meditate please consider oral sex. The life you pleasure may be your own.
They say that if sex brought enlightenment then we would al be liberated. But the fact is people are as shoddy in technique and selfish during sex as they are at a buffet line. All elbows and give me give me. Girls be like, get off, and get the fuck off fucker. But with this meditation a lot of that is undone. Ones life can only improve.

Internal concentration. I started with the base of the spine and worked my way up, but there are many ways. Some use music, some use mantras, some pray, some even walk in circles lol.
The techniques I began with are in my sig.
