Yea, looks like the same species, the scoping should be interesting!  Also, a spore print would be nice.  Just to make sure its not white spored.

Good pics.  They could be even better if you use a reflector to reflect some light back up in to the gills.    Looks like all your shots are either natural light or flash, try turning the flash down a bit lower and bounce some natural light up to take its place.

Also would be better if there was microscopy.

cold and dry...
so i hit the swamps...

this is an amazing time to hunt mushrooms in central florida...
one problem, no rain...

as soon as some rain drops, i expect things to blow up...

anyway, 11-14-13 (various swamps inside of Paynes Prairie)

Russula fragiloides.

various Ganoderma (i don't even attempt to id them down here).

i'm thinking Mycena
i have a feeling, some people may disagree...

a couple of Inocybe species.

Pleurotus pulmonarius...maybe.

Those "Mycena" look very coprinoid to me, but the white gills?... hmm.

They could be of the variety which just curl up and shrivel instead of deliquescing. Hopefully some even more mature specimens can be located.
