That's crazy LOL
poo is supposed to be aged and dried like in the sun before using.
a casing layer isn't supposed to have food such as coir, poo, compost in
it. Putting nutrients in a surface layer like that where its not colonized
is a sure way to get contamination.
So crazy this is working for you, is there any green mold or cobweb molds
in there at all???

My thoughts on this, is that, if it comes in nature, why it has to be too complicated in home?, i think that after substrate is full colonized it must be really hard to get contams, what do you think?

RR must be hatching new ideas as we type here.
This is cool. Weird but pretty cool.

When a sub is fully colonized there is no space for the foreigners to rent.

Looks like your poo clumped together into dense chunks like mine did!! That stalled its colonization quite a bit. After you harvest the first flush and dunk it, maybe try to break apart some of those turds into finer material!
That's a crazy casing too btw lol! Rabbits are herbivores, right? Pretty cool how casing it like that caused it to pin. Maybe your FC has a humidity deficiency? If it only pinned after you cased it then that would make sense.
Can't believe that didn't go south lol I tried using dirt as a casing in my first monotub and it got devoured by trich with a quickness. I read that trich is present in almost all soils and it's actually what gives dirt its fresh earthy smell! Good luck! lol!

I wanna try rabbit poo in coir instead or with worm castings.
Not the first time I have heard of people using rabbit poo.

Mushrooms grow in nature, but they don't grow as efficiently as we can do it at home. I could search a field for hours and not find as many mushrooms as I could produce from a single monotub. The reward for doing it the right way is much better yields.
I'm not trying to knock your methods by any means. If it works for you, go for it! I'm just emphasizing the point that there is a reason why most people use basically the same standard methods to grow.

In fact i dont recommend this method hehe, i think maybe i was lucky, but in the next cultivation I'll use another substrate instead of rice and more water, and obviously jars without stretch shoulders haha.
BTW when the flush ends, i can do something with that yet?
