My ex-roommate will be at the farm with the horse pasture and the 2 cattle pastures, so I can check. I just gotta find a ride there on a day when she is there. I want it all of course, just because the list of washington species is like a big checklist for me. I gotta get them all !!

Nice, I hear it's just as rainy there, but with a lot more pastures instead of forest which has it's ups and downs. More ups in terms of mushroom picking though. I just wonder why cyans are rare there though...

Nice find! Please take many close up pictures. How definite is the id for P. fimetaria? Could it possibly be P. liniformans? Can't wait to see this go under a scope!

Hmm possibly; ill try get my hands on a better camera and take some more pictures. I'll also head out again today/tomorrow and grab some more. There was hundreds in the field which were identical to the ones I got so hopefully those + camera should clear things up a little

They look like Deconica coprophila which is not uncommon. Please show a shot of the blue on the stem.

I thought that too until I noticed the pointed caps. D.coprophila is usually rounded and whtish around the cap margin when I find them.

Maybe, but I've found them pointy as well. I just don't want to rush and say it might be rare on account of that line in an otherwise very incomplete ID request.

Looks promising, but with high uncertainty. Liberty caps can have expanded caps and can sometimes be found growing from dung. Deconica coprophila is also possible, we need to see the gills!
I hope you can take some better photos. Don't just take one shot, take 3 or 4 in every angle and one of them will have better focus than the rest and can be sorted out later.

TAKE THOUSANDS OF WELL focused pics, remember, closer is not better if its not focused. take multiple pictures at a time so you can choose the best from those shots, the more photos you take, the more choices in the end to choose from. You will eventually get that freaking sexy pic, as well as awesome others
and Good luck sir!!!
