So who wants to answer how dark matter and dark energy is detectable, if not by direct evidence then how?

In Chinese, Qi (pronounced β€œChi”) means breath air, as well as life force energy.

Chi to be described by me would be a willful acceleration of electrons in the body to a higher energy state. (Ionization)

Rofl, it's like you are trying to convince me that I think what you are thinking that I think . . .

I never claimed that, so it's your own personal perception and bias that brings that conclusion, what objective evidence is there?

That is precisely why I said in my opinion.

Quote:

I think this guy thinks he's special . . . I better let him know that he's not or the world may be doomed!"

Well that's an hyperbole if I have ever heard one. I just decided to share my own opinion, and what seems to be the opinion of plenty others around here. The fate of the world does not have much to do with it. Now that's not to say that I know you are full of yourself. It's just that you come across that way in this thread.

You're opinion is irrelevant, this is a debate forum.

Why do you think your opinion matters?

It matters to me.

The reason what you said is because all we are doing here is debating opinion. We are not debating facts. Facts cannot by definition be debated, only the validity that something is a fact can really be debated.  What we are debating is our perception of the facts, the opinions and conclusions we draw from them.

The fact is you get goosebumps on your arm.
Your opinion is that it's Chi.
Mine is that I don't believe in Chi and that their are plenty of other logical explanations for why you are getting them.

If my calculations are correct, 70 people who claim to have the phenomena divided 7 billion people is around .0000001%

So according to the available data provided by you 99.9999999% of people don't have it, according to you.

Nice evidence homies.

So I guess that your argument is that I am special? Or what is it?

Yes, because everyone who can control goosebumps comes forward and says..

Besides genetics are not random, so that could be another explanation.

To get to 1% you need to find around 70,000,000 people. Then it would still be pretty rare. If you want it to be fairly common you're talking around a billion people.

Good luck proving your non-point, lmao.

It is unique, because otherwise we would have heard about it as much as controlling breathing or heart rate. It would probably not be so interesting if it were as common as being able to control the other parts of the autonomous nervous system.
I don't really know. Maybe a much larger portion of the population can control it then I thought. It's just and educated guess mate.

You lost me here. My point is that you can't have gotten accurate results from a forum and use that to represent the world population.

And what data did you use to say I must be thinking I'm special and that the phenomena is pretty common?

(The answer is no data, and your opinion.)

Just FYI, the pub is better suited for opinions. Or the conspiracy theory forums is a good place for it as well. Then there is Off-topic / OTD which I'm sure will care about your opinion.

You are not even reading my posts anymore are you? The reason this forum is here is to offer an opinion and receive criticism.

If you don't see me around here anymore it's not because I have decided my opinions are better suited for the pub or OTD. It's probably because I got hit by a car or something.

By the way the OTD cared about my opinion so much that I was banned after my first post.:bigyesnod:

That's just what ASMR has been called for millennia prior to ASMR, your argument is as invalid as your logic.

Not for opinions. Opinions are better suited for S & M, and especially not for your opinions about the posters, read the rules.

If I don't see you around it's probably because you got banned.
