APE yield

About how much does APE yield per tub on average in a monotub scenario?
Anyone with some experience with these little guys care to share what substrate they found works best with them?

This question has no single answer.
Yield depends on genetics, fruiting conditions, substrate, prep, and size/setup of the tub itself.

Thanks Frank, that makes sense.
My next question would be do you have any experience with this strain? And if so what tips do you have on substrate mixtures that have worked best for this strain?
Currently I'm pondering many different options. due to the area of the country I live in I can acquire H-Poo and straw very easily, but would like to avoid the messiness of this. I'm very partial to Rye Berries and Gypsum, or WBS and Coco Coir.
As for setting up ideal conditions, there are plenty of teks that can help me with the tubs, the rest all comes down to experience gained through experimentation.
I was just hoping to get an idea what the yields might look like on average in an ideal environment.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

My input is this:
You can't judge yield with multispore. It is what it is, you won't know until you fruit.
Quit worrying so much about "ideals."
Ideal substrate for cubes: hpoo or coir, verm, and a handful of gypsum. Any kind of spawn that colonizes fully and gets your mycelium onto your bulk substrate works great. I recommend WBS.
But if you want great yields, you'll need to get your fruiting conditions dialed in perfectly. It has little to do with your substrate and spawn

Thanks again, Frank. It sounds like you're not fond of Rye berries, any particular reason? Or just a fan of WBS?

No, it has nothing to do with the spawn itself. I use rye berries for all my edibles. I use WBS for all my cubes.
WBS is at least half the price of rye and works just as well or better.
I just use rye for edibles so I can say they are grown organically. Chefs prefer this.

Interesting, I did not know that.
Thank you very much, Frank. I believe some leg work on my part is needed to continue my research. But thanks to you, I'm headed in the right direction!
