Just curious.. I drink Chaga everyday ... I just grind it fine and steep for 15 minutes. What is your preferred method? And do you know the best way to consume with the best medicinal benefits?

I grind my Chaga in a meat grinder then throw a good handful in a crock pot and let it simmer 24/7. I now add Birch Polypore and Turkey Tail to it. Reishi would be great too, but I haven't found any yet.

I drink at least a gallon of Chaga tea every day, and when I feel motivated I'll make a tincture by filling half a mason jar with ground Chaga and half vodka and let it sit in the closet for a month or two, shaking it daily.

Are the mushrooms I've posted edible? My girlfriends mother found them and asked me to find out about them. Someone told her they are edible but she wants to make sure before consuming them.
Thanks.

Yes, they're an edible Armillaria species(Honey mushroom). Be sure to cook thoroughly before eating.

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.
