I hope it's not as boring as the first film.
I mean I love LotR, but that last Hobbit flick was a snoozer, and one I wont be watching a second time for many many years to come.

I didn't see the first film yet. I was too disappointed that they cut up a tale as brief as The Hobbit into three parts. What are they thinking? Is it always about the money with them and soaking us for every last possible penny?

I thought the same thing, but then I ended up liking it more than the LOTR movies.

I liked the first one. It had a good LOTR feel to it. And of course Gandalf is a badass. Looking forward to the next movie.

One big plus was the near total absence of Elijah Wood.

Not to mention the fact that they ruined the whole fucking thing with those terrible cheesy lines every 10 minutes.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they had to make such a crappy sort of comedy out of these fantastic stories. They should have had stephen colbert direct it.

Saw that post coming. Colbert knows loads more about that universe than the people who made the movie.

The first one was awesome. In the trailer it shows pretty much the whole second half of the book, I don't see how there could be a third movie unless they make up a bunch more story line.
