Are these pictures of contamination where the grey is and what would someone do if it was?

So I promised a friend that I would help him out. He wont make a page and get on here himself so understand that I probably wont reply as soon as you ask a question; as I have to send him a message and ask him. But I have some pictures and was wondering what I should tell him about if the grey fluffy stuff growing is mycelium or contamination. His picture has a pretty good sized pure white mycelium patch and he wanted to know what someone would do if the grey stuff is indeed contamination? Would you pull the pure white mycelium out and grow it elsewhere?

What species is it supposed to be?
All the small growths are definitely contamination.

That is all cobweb, I don't see any mycelium at all. Toss it.

The species is psilocybe cubensis golden teacher I was afraid everyone was gonna say toss it and RR is a role model when it comes to this. I like keeping up with his page because it seems like he knows a lot which sux!! Lol he didn't wanna toss it He tested a new bag and 15 minutes in the pressure it broke so everything just got thrown in a huge glass bowl and got 1 cc of the strain. So even the biggest white stuff is trash? It's cased on brf and vermiculite

That doesn't look like any cubensis myc I've ever seen. It definitely shouldn't be dark gray or growing on top of the substrate, but growing through it instead...
Wait... Which TEK did you follow to make that? It's hard to tell what kind of container that's in from the pics. Is that your spawn or the substrate? If that's your grain spawn, it definitely shouldn't be out in open air before full colonization! If it's your bulk substrate, it looks like maybe your grain wasn't colonized before spawning, or something else. Check out this thread so you know what it should and shouldn't look like at all stages of growth. Also, it wouldn't hurt to follow a tried and true TEK until you understand what's really going on. From what I hear, PF TEK is probably the best method for beginners because it is easy and has good chances of success.
Dust yourself off and try again. You'll get it.

Yes.
If you used BRF in the casing layer this is the result I would expect.

The quicker the better... you don't want mold spores floating around your house and contaminating future grows.
