I have read through a lot of sources.. there are supposed cases out there, concerning C. comatus, in Europe particularly.. Some dismiss it as likely false ID's, some have reservations based on the possibility of variations/occurrences where the Coprine content could possibly be sufficient enough to cause the metabolism problems...
Yeah, chances are you will be fine... but some people do get struck by lightning. lol.
I like to err on the side of caution, IMO

I will say, Blue-FunGuy has a very valid point.. most research agrees with what he said.
Just do some reading on it and come to your own conclusions on what you want to do.

I think your puffball is Morganella pyriformis, due to the growth on wood, fine spines that fall off and the mycelial strands coming from the base.

Oh, wow, your using an Ipad to take pics?
Most the pics I take now days are taken with my Galaxy S4, which is very capable of taking great shots... however I think my previous HTC phone was better. Usually my nicer shots are taken with one of my consumer-grade digital cameras... Canon PowerShot SX200IS and my old Olympus Camera (That I rarely use, it has no macro) -You can buy a used one for about $150 now.
I will not buy another camera until i have enough for the Canon Mark III. $$$$$
Examples of Decent Quality 100% Raw Shots, using only manual settings from both:
Canon PowerShot:

Samsung Galaxy s4:

--------------------------------------------
My Old Olympus is a cool camera, but its just not good for close ups... and all my photos taken with that camera are on an external drive that I don't have with me right now.

What kind of settings does your Ipad camera have?
I might be able to help you get better pics from it.

Just Googled Ipad Tripods... they sell mounts... get yourself a sturdy but compact tripod, and one of those mounts.. it will help you a lot.

Though I will say, out of all the pictures examples I posted above, the only one I used a tripod for was the sunset duck one... and that may have even been freehand too... but in your case, a tripod may help you get nicer shots.... might be too time consumptive, so maybe reserve it for clusters or mushrooms that really catch your eye.... unless you dont mind setting up and breaking down often....
When I go on picture hypes, I usually don't cover nearly as much terrain hunting because half my time is caught up in picture taking processes... lol..

Not sure if they got one on the market but I may just post pucs of the tripod Ive got. And sure I like the help! I need to go hunting one time with just the intention of getting at least one EXCELLENT close up shot my ipad has numerous programs I installed for photos and editing. The one is called 645pro and has macro gut no matter what I do it seems to suck at white colors! Its got tons of settings im just always running out the door to go hunt lol. I should spend tonight honing in the settings.

What kind of Balance settings does it have? ISO Options? Shutter speed? Aperture? Does it have any built in filters?
White is highly reflective, so it can often get washed out in certain lighting situations...

There's an app called Camera+ which has uses the accelerometers in iPhones and iPads to determine the most stable time to take a shot and allows you to (imperfectly but it works) manually control exposure and focus. It's pretty dope.

I dont think I have balance settings, ISO options or apeture. I will have to do some googling on what a couple of those mean. Then I will report back. We'll figure somin out

Sure thing will do. Im doubting the ipad is such a great field camera due to its size. Its the biggest they make. I see menputing it on the tripod but then getting it to stay still would be really tough! I might look into a wireless bluetooth camera attachment for it. Then I could chip clip it to things and that would not wobble as much.
