Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

I remember getting some mushrooms that were called "Blue Magnolias" a couple years ago. I remember them being pretty potent too. I've looked online but can't seem to find anything about them, so I was wondering if they actually exist or my connection was just bull-shitting me lol.

Any input would be appreciated! :biggrin:

Yeah they were probably Psilocybe Cubensis.

Yeah I have a vague memory of what they looked like because we got them a few times over a couple summers ago.

Still Could have been cubes... Just bruised to make them look more potent

Heard about this one jerk seller who would bruise his mushrooms on purpose and telll the noobs they are super potent... Brusing actually reduces potency

Could also have been cyans... If your in an area where they grow
They will be blue without much brusing and are potent

Are cyans more potent?

Edit: Just read they are common in the pacific north west. Good to know.

They indeed look like cyans (wavy caps) to me...even if not, they appear to be a wood loving species, any case....these are very potent...be careful on dosage, something like 2.5G for level 5 experience. They are def. not cubes.

They are not THAT potent ....

Cubes probably need 5 gms for level 5
Cyans go about 4 gm for level 5

Calculator says 3.3 gm of cyans for level 5 but from experience need more really

Never had them Harry, but the description here on Psyl Cyans says 2.8G for level 5....any case not nearly the same as cubes. https://www.shroomery.org/12230/Psilocybin-Species

What an idiot. Not you, SomeguyX, the guy that sold them to you. Probably an attempt to hike prices.
I wish you had been more knowledgeable about shrooms at the time. If someone tried to sell me shrooms and told me they were "blue magnolias", I would have put his ignorant ass in it's place (*grumble grumble* spreading misinformation *grumble*).

there real should have prints soon , blue rust magnolia is what there listed under on some places now but i cant find like proper genus species or whatver .
