It just doesn't look like any type of active, and AFAIK none leave brown prints. Check this out for examples of what they do look like. And consult this: An overview on how to find Psilocybin Mushrooms.

Nah, I don't know much compared to a lot of the regular denizens here... I've been an amateur hunter of actives for a while in a lot of different areas/climates, so I can usually pick them out pretty well, but I'm far from a mycologist. The way I learn best is by digging through the info myself and doing my damnedest to determine what I'm looking at before posting here, most of the time. I usually use Identification Keys like MycoKey to figure it out. Usually, by the time I'm done there, I don't need to post up here and ask, (although as a very noob, I'd use the Trusted Identifiers on this site every time until I was sure I was using the keys properly,) and I learn a slew about mushrooms while I'm at it. A really good way to start being able to pick out actives and leave the rest is by going through this sub-forum, M H&I, looking at ID requests in your area a couple of times a day, looking at pics and descriptions and reading what the Trusted Identifiers say (along with using those first two links I gave you).

^^^^^^^^^^^ this is what it takes to make sure you're not taking your life in your hands by munching random fungi. It takes less time if all you want are actives, but it still takes a while - there's a lot to learn.
