Spore Print template

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere among the forums, but just in case...

Here is a diagnostic tool you can use to evaluate the kind of mushroom you have. Place the pileus on top of the template and wait 10-15 minutes. Lift the pileus off and observe the spores. Dark spores will show up on the light side and light spores will show up on the dark side. So give this a try before you ask "Whats dis mushroom?" Also, spore prints are reliable but there is no substitute for experience and knowledge. I am in no way accepting responsibility if you eat a funky mushroom. Have fun and take only what you need.
Peace

Nice idea.... I often have to wait longer than 15 min for a spore print ... Slow mushrooms or just me?
If motivated... Will use newspaper that has white space and black print... Mushroom over print Aluminum foil is cool too...
Seen the experts use plate of glass, such that they can put it over white paper or black, then scrape the spores off for various sporific reasons
A color wheel would be nice to have... With typical spore colors

Almost no mushrooms seem to produce enough spores in 15 minutes for a spore print, at least for me. Overnight seems to work ok for most, but I have had some take 2 days to produce enough spore powder to make a good print.
-------------------- Happy mushrooming!

Good idea, although it seems to be missing a few genera
