Trillian (www.trillian.cc) has built in encryption.

--------------------
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniencies attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson

Does Trillian encrypt by default?

Where in that post did he mention trillian? The topic is encryption for AIM, a first.

No it doesn't, but it is simple enough to enable it.

He didn't mention it. It was just a shameless plug for my favorite instant messanging client.

Ive tried most of the clients. DeadAim with security is the best. Tabbed windows(all chat boxes can be in one window), transparent windows, and now it finally has security.

Deadaim and keygen can be found on kazaa.

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I'm very happy, thanks!

PS: I use AIM, but I have all my sessions encoded by Navajo Code Talkers. It works pretty well, but I can only communicate with other people who have a Navajo Code Talker handy... :smirk:

DeadAim with security is the best.

I have deadaim with aim-encrypt, but yet the deadaim logs remain unencrypted. Is this simply because I am reading them?

I know that you can personally disable the logging feature, but what about other people? Is there anyway to set this up to refuse any sort of log attempt?

Thanks!
