It's an Amanita species, any clear pics of the base?

Yeah, it's just the lighting is making it difficult to see certain critical features. I can only guess from your photos, but they may be an Amanita muscaria variety. At this point that's only a guess though, your pics are too dark for me to safely say for sure...

Do not eat those until they can be 100% identified, the Amanita genus has a few very dangerous (deadly) species.

I'd suggest taking a few focused shots in good light of the cap, gills, stem and base.

At this point I'd have to agree with this, the photos (to me) are way to ambiguous. I'll just leave at at Amanita

Are all of these mushrooms lacking an annulus and if so, do any have remains of an annulus (or other remains of a partial veil) or volval cup(evidence of universal veil aside from warts on cap)?

I am not sure on the first. Not an Amanita that you can eat for a deliriant/psychoactive effect.

The second one however is probably Amanita pantherina, I couldn't tell you what variation. Some people eat these to get high, but they are not used as commonly and I have heard they can have less predictable chemical constituents(I do not actually know much hard facts on this species).
