I am considering letting the cat out of the bag this year, as I am not planning to stay in the regular "game" much longer... so fear of competition verses the joy of sharing knowledge is about to be heavily weighed....

Thinking about doing a detailed thread on my preservation technique...

Not that my technique is unique, but its surprisingly underused and rarely talked about.

In theory, It can preserve them indefinitely.  Those mushrooms from over the summer are from 2 seasons ago and they are still strong as fuck, no notable decrease in potency whatsoever..  those were picked in 2011.

it almost seems to stabilize them too... as you experienced with the ones I gave you last year... even with the method in which you stored them, after a year they should have been much weaker than what you reported... I am very happy with my results so far.

Feeling I should share the joy soon~

yeah. i had those things for about a year and they were still really strong. and that was a year not in the freezer but in a baggy so i see your point on the preservation angle.

i denno why you wouldnt share them? the magic brand stabilizing agent is my fave part too. it adds a nice poetic angle.

Lol.. its like that brand was created for mushrooms... match made in magic heaven.

also what do you mean by not going to be in the game?

Tha game being the 'urban mushroom trade-parade'... Moving onto another game where I will have no competitors.

Mushroom hype has been on blast, and its only getting more congested...
Once I teach you, I am moving on to less ventured territory.

"The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

-Sounds like a salvia experience!

LOL.  One of the women on my webdev listserv describing the last kiwi quake.  I told her their square dancing must be a bit different than in the states.

--------------------
"Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats."
