So i always get mood swing like massiveely and if someone has made my day bad then i will be all negative throughout the day until i come home when i feel better because i dont have to socialize. With my close mates i can be happy but seeing as im in college (uk so last year of highschool in america) (yeah im 18) most of my mates have left and im left with a few whom are my close mates but most of them just assume im an over the top person. Which is what i do when ever i feel really down. I use alcohol and drugs to keep my mind off of the bad things which i know isnt a good thing. I always feel depressed whenever im antious and i just want to die but other times im absolutely fine. I feel like i can survive society because i pretend to be a happy man but im really not and find myself coming home and crying. I used to be really sad when i was like 12-15 but have been stable fr the past 2 years but in the last year my problems have come back omfg i just feel like dyign sometimes.

Sounds more like depression to me...get some therapy dude. Therapy isn't just for crazy people, it can help just about anyone.
I did a few months of CBT and it drastically changed my outlook on life and how I think

sounds like depression to me. if you are interested in BPD read a book called "Walking on Eggshells". I've known a BPD and it's pretty severe and also quite different than depression.

Sounds like you are actually normal, just like the rest of the world.
Think of it this way, the whole world is like a huge bag of mixed nuts.
Just learn that
YOU and ONLY YOU make happiness or yourself miserable.
The only crises, is the one that is in your mind.

There's a lot of idiots on here that will tell you psychiatric disorders don't exist. Do yourself a favor and don't listen to hippie garbage and go see a psychiatrist. And definitely don't follow any instructions to self-medicate yourself with shrooms. I hear it all the time on here.

I've been to shrinks before, they aren't there to help you. Bottom line. Most people say "I've been in therapy for years" and that's the ONLY crazy part about them.
I agree with the posts above about finding something that will give you joy everyday. Something that when you go to sleep, you're excited about seeing in the morning. Try LEGO or growing something.

Is lego still fun for adults? I have no interest in building a star wars ship, but what about a general set? Hmm..

YOU choose to be happy, you choose to be sad.
