Extracting "Honey" from a vaporizer whip.

About to heat up the whip to get the oil moving around more freely. I'm going to get it all out with a stick, roll it up and probably have a nice time. This is pure essential oils from the plant and the plants that have been going through this vaporizer have all been very nice. That whip hasn't been cleaned, ever.

I think letting the thing soak in a small amount of rubbing alcohol in/on a small dish of sorts, and using something to scrape loosen/remove the oil.
The oil will dissolve into the rubbing alcohol. Remove the thing from the dish once it's scraped the best you can and when most of the oil has dissolved into the alcohol. Let the alcohol evaporate, then scrape up the oil that's left over....That's the way I usually go about trying to clean things when I'm also trying to save that precious bit of oil (because I'm a smoker on a budget) .
If it's resin I'll just toss it most of the time, but the re-condensed oil that builds up in vapes is mighty tasty and rather potent. I've cut open and scraped the insides of the bags the volcano vape uses after they've been used for long periods of time, after the vapor of many ounces of various top shelf buds has passed through them.
Once scraped up I just dripped it on some weed in a bowl and hovered the flame above the bowl so it melted and vaped. It bubbled up and melted away cleanly. Tasted delicious, though since there were so many various strains that went through that vape there was a broad range of terpenes in there. So there was no distinct unique taste to the oil, just a classic earthy kushy sweet taste of ganja.
if the herb was vaped a little hot, the oil might have some of that toasted-burnt popcorn taste that overly vaped weed has.

I have an arizer extreme and some of the finest ganja my memories can recall actually passed through this specific whip. I have an electric heater and I just held the whip upside down and coaxed the oil onto my bowl. This was all worth it. It's almost psychedelic

Ah, veddy nice then...things worked out for ya . Even a few rips of oil, definitely worth it.
I find cannabis to be rather psychedelic too....
Generally if the proper strain is smoked (usually sativa). Definitely is if I take cannabis orally. I think there might be a certain cannabinoid that is only obtained, or it is more bio-available only when cannabis is taken orally.
Say this "cannabinoid" in question, or what ever it is that causes cannabis taken orally to be more psychedelic for most as well as myself. Thinking this cannabinoid is possibly destroyed from the heat of flame when smoking bud. Or possibly it doesn't have good bio-availability in smoke/vapor form (?)...Or thinking it's possible that when cannabis is taken orally the body metabolizes a particular cannabinoid into a metabolite that is more "psychedelic" (maybe this metabolite has a higher affinity for endocannabinoid receptors, or a different mechanism of action all together [?] )...so this "metabolite", would not be present in the bud itself and would not be obtained from smoking cannabis.
ramblings of speculations
