I'm in a relationship with a guy with a beard and it's cool. I used to not like it much at first but it grew on me. Now I prefer it compared to no beard. Doesn't cause any proximity problems either, only stubble does that IMO.

I don't like those neck beards personally but a nice proper chin-beard is nice (not talking about a goatee or anything like that, I mean a full beard).

Beard:

No beard:

I prefer to NOT look I'm 16.

My chick won't let it get to lumberjack status.
But I refuse to shave clean, that shit is fucking goddamn annoying.
I hate shaving. It's always itchy as fuck... And I look stupid as fuck clean shaven. + I'm not a chick.

My girl would probably prefer me clean shaven. But she realizes that is a fucking futile effort.
and we've reached a compromise that I just don't let it get out too of control.

You strike me as one of those guys that looks good with a 5 o clock shadow. They feel terrible, but on the right guy 5 o'clock shadows look great.

Beards, by all means. I seem to be especially drawn to guys that have the Guy Fawkes look. If he has long hair, too, I'm pretty much his. Not that there's anything wrong with the shaved look. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore. What can I say? I need a man.

Unfortunately it's rather impossible to have a constant 5 o clock shadow...

I shave when I feel like I have to for some assignment. This can be rather random with the freelancing work I do. So basically, the more facial hair I have, the poorer I am

This is not really laziness as I do keep every stage of growth as nicely trimmed as I can! I just like to grow it but am sometimes forced to a stop.

I've always has some form of beard since I was 19, I literally have not had a clean chin in nearly 7 years. Mrs. Jordy likes it. I have the same problem as Shroomism, I look young when I shave. Plus I have a round face and the beard gives it a bit more definition.

I think facial hair is unkempt and weird looking. It's better if he's shaven.

Is it? Wouldn't a beard trimmer set to the lowest setting work?

Their lowest setting is usually too long. (using the attachment)

Without the attachment would be too short. .
