Cortinarius caperatus / Gypsy mushroom?

Hello there,
Found these today in a conifer forest on the Western side of Mount Rainier, WA. I've collected my fair share of Gypsy Mushrooms in Europe, but never in the PNW, so I'd appreciate if somebody could confirm or deny my identification, as well as point me to possible lookalikes.
Thanks,
MycoMen

Gypsies have recently been reclassified as Cortinarius based on DNA evidence, used to be called Rozites caperata before.

Ah cool. Looks right to me. Supposedly they are not supposed to be around here. According to Michael Kuo
Got a microscope?

Thanks for the feedback. According to Trudell/Ammirati, they're "common in certain years in the PNW, but more common to the North of us".
As for a microscope, I wish

Well, I'd call it that based on macroscopic features.

Thanks. I can't think of any dangerous lookalikes, so I'll give them a try.

Congrats! Haven't really started looking for Psilocybe yet, but it's been an awesome edibles season up here this far. Enjoy these guys, I saute'd mine with a little onion, pepper, parsley and flour, made a sauce with white wine, added some cream and served them on toast.
