What you consider Upper Class (with capital letters for some reason ) is what I consider the idiots who have a lot of money and no idea how to spend it. Money is no substitute for good lifestyle design.

IMO alcohol is just a shitty replacement for shrooms. I am a believer in Terence McKenna's theory that we are symbiotes with the :sporedrop: and that deep down we all long for that collective periodic return to full communion with it, and with each other, with our tribe. We all long for the shroom state taken in a group with others. Full sharing, full removal of barriers and inhibitions, full acceptance.

Alcohol in all its forms, from the cheapest to the most expensive Whiskey, is a complete piece of shit replacement for the real thing, and it does definitely NOT deliver.

That's why I can't and don't respect people who don't know any better. They drink a lot because maybe they have stress, they feel that real need to return, but are in fact ignorant of how to do it, and so grab for the bottle. More and more expensive or stronger concoctions made of the same shit molecule that doesn't deliver the goods required. It doesn't bring openness and unity.

Take any activity done with alcohol, and you'll see it would be far superior if done with low/medium dose shrooms. Weddings, light socializing, seeking a mate for short or long term, bonding with the bros, unwinding, all of these can be done far better with shrooms, and they don't fuck up your liver. Rich people who could afford shrooms acid ayahuasca and mescaline, and don't, resigning themselves to alcohol, are IMO severely ignorant. They're actively supporting and perpetuating a dead end lifestyle, teaching it to their kids, their peers and so on. Communion with, pardon my French, a nigger molecule.

Nothing seems more misguided to me, than two primates going  with alcohol, when they should be doing the exact same thing with lemon tek. When I hear that clink sound of beer bottles, and see that idiotic superficial gaze specific to alcohol in the bloodstream, for me that's it. Game fucking over.

I have a profound disgust and contempt for alcohol. Do try and find some way to defend it, as I presented it here, when compared to the real thing, low dose shrooms. I think as a society we are being severely held back from what we could be, due to people's willingness to settle for cheap molecules.
:drunkdriver:

Then there's that 100% ignorant situation, when I meet new people, at some point I refuse alcohol and mention I don't drink it, and they give me that look as if I'm some lost poor virgin, as if I don't know what awesome kicks I'm missing, because I don't drink beer. Surely I must be some Jehovah's witness with no life. This coming from clearheads who have never heard of psychedelics let alone take one

Makes me want to smash some bottles (for effect) and scream - MUSHROOMS BITCH, ACID, MESCALINE, AYA. Do you have anything here that would actually make this day interesting and memorable? No. STFU and drink your bottled piss in quiet then. Incredible kicks that your shitty peasant head will never know, endless sea of patterns you'll never see, because you were never curious enough to even Google, and your only options for a state change are booze coffee and maybe chocolate. But of course you can't say that openly, as it would disturb the other clearheads.

Fuck. Sorry for the long post, I've just been living among clearheads for way too long, I've had enough of smokers and drinkers and non-trippers. Definitely need to GTFO.

I am dying.

Please tell me this isn't real.

If real, I'm dying laughing right now.  If not real, well done and I am still laughing.

Dude you should totally go to Poland and tell everyone how stupid alcohol and tobacco are. I'm sure they'd really appreciate you helping them out like that until someone kicks your ass

ive done plenty of psycadelics and can prepare many any which way BUT i still prefer beer..much more consistant and functional than being on a low dose of psychs..ill take a low dose beer which is about 2 or 3 for me..plus beer is just enjoyable to drink and it taste good plus it makes me hungry and goes great with weed

Been to Poland a couple times, Warsaw is one of the most depressing cities I've ever been to, the countryside was nice but most people who live there are dirt poor and there's nothing to do. Yes, women are pretty hot, but most Polish guys I've met were rude as fuck, they just have this really aggressive "alpha" vibe to them, but then again most Slavic men are like that.

I'm sure there's cool places and people in Poland, but if you're from the US/Canada, it probably wouldn't be my first choice.

There is no evidence of Polish cavalry mounting a brave but futile charge against German tanks using lances and sabres during the German invasion of Poland in 1939. This story may have originated from German propaganda efforts following the charge at Krojanty in which a Polish cavalry brigade surprised German infantry in the open and charged with sabres until driven off by armoured cars. While Polish cavalry still carried the sabre for such opportunities, they were trained to fight as highly mobile, dismounted cavalry (dragoons) and issued with light anti-tank weapons

:strokebeard: Interesting.

In certain circuimstances horses still seem like they'd be a highly effective method of transportation in battle. Especially dense forests and very rocky outcrops that are mostly inaccessible to mechanized transportation.

Sure he does. It's just that his symbiosis idea I find rather plausible. Whenever I was in groups actually following this lifestyle, things were going far, far better than in regular urban groups who don't take anything. Well beer, whatever  Useless.

Quote:

You are one of the most arrogant sons of bitches I ever seen here on the Shroomery.

You just called Alcohol a nigger molecule?
Only an idiot with no respect for life would say something like that in an attempt to prove a point.

Did I read that right?

Seriously?

You read it right. I think it's a complete piece of shit substance, and it's in fact quite destructive. Look for families and relationships destroyed by it, look for destroyed livers that come from its long term use, go check an AA meeting perhaps, you'll hear some shit. But most of all I think it leads to monotonous boring unimaginative thinking. So many people settle for just drinking alcohol, and they don't pursue other more interesting state changes. Sad thing to behold I think. Weddings with alcohol, sugar cakes and more grilled red meat on the table. Wow what rich amazing culture and experience

Quote:

You probably don't know the first fucking thing about alcohol.

This part of my country is mainly known for two things. A certain kind of intricate traditional wood carving, and making super strong, quality, traditional booze out of pears and plums. Wherever you go in my country and even outside, if you bring them a bottle of the local traditional stuff here, they're generally quite happy, appreciating the taste and flavor and who knows what else, because they don't make it like that in other regions.

I've been in the middle of it all my life, and have seen all the holidays featuring it, both my grandparents and my dad were grape growers and making their own wine every year, as well as making the stronger stuff out of pears and plums, as is the custom here for centuries. What do your people do, meet and drink beer from the bar? Wow, amazing. Tell me more.

I've been here, seen the people, customs, what they do and how they think after drinking it. Definitely not impressed. My first shroom trip blew this crap wide open, for me at least. My first Aya trip, first acid at a psy festival, my salvia trips, they all pointed me in this same direction. Alcohol is a boring, unimaginative molecule for the masses.

Quote:

At least, alcohol is a more humble drug, something you could use a lot of.

Me? Alcohol? Okay, let's test this theory, shall we?

Quote:

Some of my best trips were on weed and alcohol.

Comparing this to what exactly?

Anyway I don't mix much with drinkers here, I won't mix much with drinkers in Poland either. Of course I can't go shooting my mouth off about it, just quietly avoid and go about my business. Same for tobacco smokers, I'm sure they'll be just fine without my input.
