Anyone else find mushrooms give you a negative view of your life?

It is what happens to everyone, usually more of phase imho. It can last quite a while until you correct the negative things your dwelling on, or just move past them. It's called introspection and it's giving you an opportunity to see your flaws and correct them. Completely up to you whether you choose to become a better person or not. We all need work, none of us are perfect.
Very easy to sit back when you're sober and realize which of those thoughts are accurate and which were just delusions, if you are honest with yourself that is. If you aren't honest then not much can be done.

This is a great post explaining what mushrooms do for the normal person. What you're experiencing is normal, and it's up to you to decide whether to change these problems you keep seeing.
I always have a period of reflection where I look into what I should change. The thoughts I have are always true for me.

One thing I'm starting to realize is, always view the mushrooms in a positive light, and they will give you what you need. I used to think that was BS because there are clearly people negatively affected by them, but the more I trip, the more I realize my intention and mindset is going to cause me to search for the things that reflect that. So they may show you some negative things about yourself, but if you accept it as a positive message you have the choice to make great changes in your life.
IF you're worried that it's just mushrooms distorting your perspectives, give those changes a chance and find out for sure. You always have the option to go back to the way you were if you believe it's best for you. I think deep down we all know what's best for us, sometimes we're just afraid to admit it or believe it because it requires a lot of change from what we've been taught and taught ourselves over the course of time

OP: basic self-reflection
the person who looks inside himself never gets sick for he knows what he does wrong
so he can correct it and be happy
I'm really sorry I hit you when you were a child (seems alcohol does the same, my stephdad said that to me 20 years later as the first thing when I talked too him, he must have had bad trips, but I don't remember him hitting me lol)
the good thing is I forgive him and told him, because drugs can make us not ourselves sometimes same with stress/pills etc., it makes you live as your thoughts instead of who you are without realizing it
nobody is perfect, we've all done some stupid shit without thinking about it, life is about learning from mistakes / appreciating what you have now
realize you have everything you need less is more :-)

Yeah, like everyone else said it's a normal part of the trip. For me it only happens during the first hour or two. Then I eventually come to terms with whatever was bothering me and find a solution. Then the rest of the trip is about the building yourself back up and thinking about how to move forward as a better person. During the end of the trip I usually feel really grateful for a lot of things too.
