P. cyans: Which Band of Forest in Astoria

Around Ft Stevens, Astoria there are bands of forest type; especially north from Delaure Beach road. Some pine, some alder and other trees mixed with beach grass and of course lots of just plain beach grass.
Where are cyans most prevalent in these varying types of forest?

Not in forests at all. In hardwood mulch mostly. In Astoria you may want to look of azurescens as well in the dune grasses. Woodchips for cyans though. If you found one in the forest it would be fairly incredible.

I wonder where the heck are all the magic piles of wood chips in and around Astoria? Haa haa of course you're not going to tell me where they are exactly... but I've been looking around and they are very rarely used. It seems cultivation would be more efficient. But hinting around the forest is very nice.

Check slash piles and debris on the coast line. You might certainly find Psilocybe cyanescens growing naturally there, as well as P. azurescens. to be honest you are in one of the best places to hunt in the world. I wish i was more southern...

Just be careful, the cops up there don't fuck around, and they generally don't like us...but last year they arrested someone in town then posted an article in the next days newspaper describing the event and the "massive" patch of psychedelic mushrooms, EXACT location and all /
