exactly would you all classify someone who "follows the ways of the land"? Just wondering as I am looking for something to tell the folks that ask about me.

Nope because I will shoot an animal in a heart beat if I need it for food.

No. People ask me what "religion" I am all the time and up until now I have not seen and need to answer. Well now I see a need and am not any of the major or minor "religions". I am just a spiritual person. Some want a label to put on me so I feel that I should provide them with one before they add one to me that is way off.

Anyone who practices the Kabbalah esp. in the form of study of the tree of life, acknowledgement of all as divine, nonviolence, and letter permutation, follows the way of Earth (Adamah)and also Heaven (Shamayim).
Everything is the Tree of Life.
Good are those who use it to make the world kinder and more beautiful instead of crueler and more bound... though it can go both ways
being that evolution is natural, vegetarians follow the way of the land, towards a greater whole, though the land can confuse us muchly, if we are disrespectful to it, or ignorant of our relations to it giving us a very bad trip. making us feel trapped. (the story of torah, needing our divine intervention and self realization/thinking to be freed from)
the earth is infinite and divine it has the power to destroy us if we are harmful to it. but with increasing kindness, we become more one with it, and can realize its infiniteness, that its actually literally the entire universe and beyond that all of the dimensions, but only a being with good karma can see this.
the way of the land is to help those with good karma who cause joy and to diminish those who cause harm
the earth is a reflection of your spirit, and yet its smart enough to give everyone the reflection that the need at the same time though we are all at different levels, its weird like that.
loving kindness to all beings
not that its the worst thing to eat a chicken or something, its the spirit that we do it in, we must respect its life, honor it completely, feel sorry for pain we cause in its death, though its nessecary, and eventually seek other sources of food.
one who follows the way of the land in is line with the spiritual law of karma that is one gets what ones gives, with a bit of divine compassion added in, occasionally too.
*sends out love and vibrations of fun and meaningful friendship to all chickens*
