What about ten years after the trip? Looking back.

I've taken 130 strong trips. Most of them were 3.5 g shroom trips. I took five or six 7 g shroom trips, and one 14 g shroom trip. I took 1000 mcg of LSD once and 500 mcg of LSD twice. I have four or five lower dose shroom trips. I haven't tripped in over ten years. I still have strong shroom vibes. The trip is with me constantly. I think I need lower dose trips. As soon as I discovered it, I pushed it as far as I could go. I really went for the burn and stopped when I could tell I was getting far out. What are your feelings about the long term effects of trips? Sometimes I feel as if I've already tripped enough. Other times I feel like going for another 14 g shroom trip! I tend to associate with other trippers.

I find tripping to be like therapy for life so I am always pro tripping, and if nothing else find a friend or two and just have fun with it.

Interested in others' responses, but can you explain what you mean by still feeling the mushroom vibes?

Eat some again. If nothing else they help boost brain plasticity. New neural connections galore . There are other benefits to them I find as well ... ones which stretch far beyond the direct experience on the night of.

I've always enjoyed taking lose doses of shrooms. Like a threshold dose to where you just barely feel it, and then you smoke some weed and the two synergize and potentiate each other. It's cool because you get the shift in consciousness and the deeper perspective on things, as well as sensual enhancement, but it's not overwhelming and you can still go about your day. Ya know do whatever you gotta do e.g. school, work, whatever but you're trippin'.
I've done high doses but I feel like low doses are almost more valuable in a way, 'cause you have to work for it a little bit. The shrooms meet you half way instead of completely taking you for a ride and as you go about your day, interacting with the world, nobody knows what you're up to, but the shroom is there with you.
I feel ya on the 'shroom vibe being with you all the time' thing, but I've gone a year or so without trippin', thinkin' that I had it all figured out, but then when i trip again, it still pushes the boundaries. Life is a never ending journey and I think psychedelics are always a catalyst for furthering our understanding and experience of life, no matter where we are on the path.
Hope that made sense

It's fine to trip, but I think one should space those things out and keep tabs on their mental state throughout

I remember my trips like they were yesterday. Mostly pleasant experiences. It's good to keep them special. I haven't tripped on shrooms for 2 years and hope to soon.

Never got a freebie/flashback from all the trips I've taken. And I remember most of them quite well. Always had a heckuva good time! That's more than 10 years, more than 30 years of tripping out.

I found dmt but I was afraid it was bad. I only tried LSD when I found a connect and everyone loved the LSD and said it was real LSD. I used to lampwork glass pipes and I've smoked about 20 pounds of pot. I think I just need a vacation. I want to move back to Hollywood where almost everyone is a head. I live in the deep country alcoholic zone.

I think moderation and respect are necessary attributes to the psych realm. You seem to have had neither at one time. Personally, I can't stand smoking weed on psychs...increases my anxiety, but that is me and some here say it has the opposite effect.
I try to make my trips a "event" and not just shits and giggles. Set and setting play major roles in getting a positive vibe from the experience. IDK sunshine....you may be a candidate for abstinence. That's a whole lot of stuff you've put into yourself.

Like any other life experience, the psychedelic trip shapes who we are. Regardless of how you perceive your psychedelic trip (drug induced hallucination or spiritual journey) it tends to have a big effect upon your life.
As for me, it changed the course of my entire life. Much of what I do has been inspired either directly or indirectly by the experiences that I have on the other side.
