Found these tan colored, purpley gilled guys in wood chips. They look exactly like the ONE I found last year so hopefully I've done it this time. I haven't done a complete spore test but I can say that my fingers were purple/brown after handling them, and the newspaper has some purple/brown in the wet spots from the larger piece. So... what say you??

Look for mushrooms that blue and have a purple spore print, study up on your Psilocybes so you know what you're looking for.

Idk but they are not active. There is no blueing whatsoever. Looks like a psathyrella or agrocybe to me, but so do a lot of mushrooms.
Don't give up, it's early yet.

Cyans will bruise blue very noticeably
Stem and cap... If it doesn't bruise blue... Not a cyan

Not with a purple spore print.
