Not sure what two is but I don't think it is Lacrymaria. The gill color
is not right.

I thought the same thing Ganzig! wow. but seein as Im usually wrong I figured i would guess lacrymaria velutina because last ones I found like that were that. The gills definately are lighter on these. I kept samples to check for bruising :mushroom2:

You will find no bruising. It may be a cortinarius

I dont know shit about amanitas.

Your lacrymaria looks like agaricus (cracking cap)

Your morning glories are petunias.

I am no photographer, I use a cellphone camera

But,I think the composition of your pics has improved.

I mean your artistic eye is starting to show in your pics.

Just take more pics of each subject, half my pics are blurry

but that is the bonus of digital, just delete the worst ones. :crazy2:

I think the best tips i have read

are invest in some kind of tripod

and get a 10mp or better camera with macro mode.

Are you using an Ipad or cell phone?

You can always find cheap cameras on craigslist or in pawn shops, usually under $50 bucks for something decent to get started with.

TY for the advice and compliments. Im happy Im improving. I do take a lot of pics but I accidentally delete the clear ones sometimes lol. I will try and take even more then usual to try and ensure good clear photos  I have a tripod but it is for a regular camera. Im using a large sized ipad hahaha. I think it has a descent camera and I got a macro app I use but it seems to be worse then the factory camera app on it. Anyway I TY for the advice and will continue doing a little better each time as long as I can help it. :mushroom2:

Great stuff!! I really like your pictures...the Amanitas and the puffballs with the tombstones in the background. Keep it up, you will get better.
It's interesting to see what kind of mushrooms you found too.
Thanks for sharing.

I meant to ask you this on another thread

when you were talking about you ipad.

Are you using the front or back camera ?

I also remember you talking about the life case

and a screen protector.

That is probably to much plastic over the front lens.

Maybe it will be as simple as

just switching to the better rear camera

with no case and construct your own

diy tripod to fit the ipad.

Front camera on ipad:

FaceTime HD camera=
1.2MP photos

Rear camera on ipad:

iSight camera=
5MP photos
Autofocus
Face detection
Backside illumination
Five-element lens
Hybrid IR filter
ƒ/2.4 aperture

anyone know what kind of agaricus #2 are? No rush. I kept like 6 of them. They smell good but Im not sure if Id call it almondy. Im bad at describing smells tho  I can tell you I think amanita smell a little like stinky feet lmao. I would say its a combo of cheese and feet teehee!:mushroom2:

Right on Im using the back camera and yes it has a lifeproof case that is probably too much plastic as you said. Including the protective screen cover thats two layers of plastic on top of the camera. I may take it out of the case and try some pics close up with it. Also make some kind of mount for the tripod  Dang I figured it had at least an 8megapixel cam on the back. Oh well 5mgpxl is what I got to work with hehe. Good advice and TY very much Paracelsus!:mushroom2:

Beavis ight on!

On a side note I need to figre out why white shades are so hard to pick up on the cam, I messed with the exposure settings and still I have to be right up on shading the shroom to get a clear pic. I have used the ipad to find mushrooms this way just watch the screen in cam mode and look for whit spots, nost the time it works as a good mushroom detector this way

I have the same problem with white shrooms.

You can use a white umbrella

or white cloth to diffuse the light. :crazy2:
