Hello, I found 2 little mushrooms. Their veils were not yet broken. I broke the veils by taking the caps off the stems. The two were growing side by side.
Habitat: cold foggy pine forest mountain, growing on decomposing pine needles at the base of a pine tree
Gills: were hidden by the veil, white gills
Stem: white and yellow wider at the bottom fuzzy ring at base. Solid 3.5 in. Long. 3/4 inch diameter at base, half inch at top.
Cap: 1 inch diameter, red-orange with yellow warts
Bruising: no color change
General location: morelos, mexico 2100m altitude
Spore print: no spores immature fruits
Smell: mild smell like portabella
Date found: september 29th, 2013

These don't seem to be Amanita muscaria. I don't know what they are. Maybe Alan or some one else knows. They look like they fit into section Validae.
