Its all Smoke and Mirrors :mushroom2:

maybe get some small mirrors to manipulate light

under, around or behind the subject.

Use moss, leaves,a piece of cloth etc. for background

try different textures and colors.

I would share more from my hunts

if my pics didn't mostly suck :frown:

I am thinking about selling some firewood this fall/winter

for some extra cash for a new camera and gear

Wow!! Great improvement already!! Sorry I don't have any good advice, but like someone suggested always take a lot of shots and try different angles, look for the best angles and take lots of shots. If I want some natural light to shine on my subjects in a darker forest always focus on the whiter lighter spots and this seems to darken the whole photo and reduce that overexposed look. When taking habitat shots I always focus on the sky and this helps a lot to darken the photo and create contrast. I use an iPhone so I'm not sure if this works the same for other cameras or IPads.

TY sounds like a good idea I will try focusing on the sky a couple times. These were the best shots out of like 50 or so lol. I appreciate the advice! I still havent taken the ipad out of its case yet. Im going to do that tonight and hopefully that will clear some stuff up :mushroom2:

Wow...those amanita blew up overnight huh...super cool bro! Have you had the chance to eat a puffball yet? I've heard mixed reports (not bad, just mixed) so say they are tasteless and good only to add texture to a dish...but I've also heard of dredging them in egg batter and frying them...they say its really good. and you guys were pretty "lop sop doy" last night, YOUR TATTOO SAYS DUDE! YOUR TATTOO SAYS SWEET!
