Storing shrooms in difficult situation?

Hello!
So a couple of weeks ago I decided to grow some shrooms using a growkit, and I have just harvested and dried the first flush. Currently I am living in a shared flat with some room mates, some rather puritanical and anti-drugs, so I can't store them in the freezer/fridge.
As of now I have them inside an air-tight sealed bag inside my wardrobe, which compared to the rest of the house is quite cool. I live in the south of Spain, so it's difficult to find places to store them. Any suggestions of places to store them? Any solutions, alternatives, methods that I can try given my situation?
Thanks a lot in advance! McJudas

once cracker dry can put them in a jar, or in a baggie inside of brown paper bag. always helps to add desicant of some sort to keep them absolute dry for long term storage

They don't necessarily need to be kept in the refrigerator or freezer.
You can easily store them longterm by purchasing desiccant. You might recognize desiccant as little silica gel packets that come in many packages which are sent through the mail.
Amazon even has some silica gel packets which tell you when the packets have absorbed too much moisture. The packets turn a certain color like orange, or blue. When they turn this color, you can "recharge" them by sticking them in the oven and after that they're reusable.
Check it out:

Yeah, these turn from orange to dark green.. letting you know they need to be recharged.

Sounds like a good idea, but how do these work? Where should I put them?

you could always grind them up and make pills using a pill press. Then you could use an empty vitamin/supplement container and no one would be the wiser. Just keep it in your room

Just throw the little pouch of desiccant into the sealed jar with the dried mushies. It will absorb any moisture.

You can buy some ziplock bags and some tea bags as well as damprid (desiccant) and put the damprid inside the tea bags and store a tea bag in each ziplock bag that contains your dried fruits. Store these in another container that also has damprid in it and these should keep for a very long time.

Frank has a tutorial on this.
Or just do this:

It's not that hard.
