Growing from wood chips in the PNW of course.


Thin little stalk compared to the cap.

And white print as you can see.

They were all over a cyan patch.

Gymnopus makes sense on paper....but I don't really know what these are.  Do you have any habitat photos of the stem?

Nah, Ill get more. The stem was about 3 maybe 4 mm wide from top to bottom.

I thought Gymnopus too but the gills are attached. :shrug:

lots of Gymnopus have adnate gills...at some stage of growth.

Definitely not Laccaria.

There is a large doug fir next to these but I am guessing they are saprobic as they are fruiting from the tops of piles of woodchips that are
at least 2.5 feet deep.
