can much go wrong with horse manure?

hey shroomery, this is my first grow
i've just made sweet sweet inoculation with 10 brf jars(i'd have used grains but i cant afford a pressure cooker right now) and collected a metric shit ton of field dried horse manure, my question is this, if the jars colonise properly and i crumble them all into a monotub of manure is it likely the whole tub will fail or should i just spawn them into manure trays?
thanks

If you pasteurize your manure properly it should be fine. For your first bulk attempt I would recommend using coir and verm. It is much more forgiving. Here you go https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17246844#17246844

Coir verm bulk was not even verging on the horizon when I did my first bulk grow, with pf cakes to poo! So exciting to be doing your first bulk project.
As far as trays or monotubs: You could make a couple smaller monotubs (mini-monos), if done properly the project will environmentally support itself in the tub. If you do go with trays you will have to figure out an alternative source to help supplement humidity(perlite/geolite/etc).
Here is an awesome tek if you wanna divide your spawn and go with different containers and forgo monotubs... please check it out... I think you will be inspired :

As for poo or coir, I like them both very well, and I like a mixture of them even better. Pastuerizing your poo properly is key. Taking the time to drain and or squeeze it field capacity cannot be stressed enough. Most contamination issues I see with bulks these days are due to either improper paste temps, and/or substrate being too wet.

Take a look here too
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18857907
This is about a shoe box sized bulk tub being put into a SGFC. You could crumble and spawn your BRF cakes to properly pasteurized bulk substrate like this too.

heres a smal update about my grow so far, mainly to get my post count up, and maybe get some advice from pros
amazingly, all 10 of my jars have come through, that really surprised me i was thinking this would be a lot harder- maybe ive just got beginners luck... anyway 4 days ago i broke up 4 of the jars and mixed them up with 5 pints of pasteurised horse manure in a clear tray, so far all 5 sides i can see look like they're colonising really well and i'm just about to add perlite to my sgfc
with the 5 remaining jars i'm letting 4 consolidate before fruiting as cakes and the other i crumbled, mixed with manure in a pint glass and when that looks done i'll inoculate as many pint glasses of manure as i can(i have tons of em)
honestly i'm not quite sure what i'll do with all these mushrooms when/if they fruit but i'm super excited anyway!

Be careful with poo. It's easy to over do it. Stick to the ratios suggested here and you should be good.
Too much of a good thing can turn real bad real fast.
I added too much a couple times and it was hotter than hell before it all went to shit (see what I did there)?
