Found these in a cow field today, my guess was pan cyans. If these are indeed active will these be enough for some trippy vibes ?

I just looked those up are they active? They do look sort of similar to what mushrooms I have in my possession.

The picture im looking up seem to be more brown and different shaped . Do you have a strong feeling they aren't cyans?
Slight blue bruising in some spots but not as much as I would expect. This batch has got me puzzled!

Sweet! I was sincerely hoping I would hear this! Would these few mushrooms be enough for a small dose?

I saw some smaller ones in the field I was at but I don't know much about this species I wasn't sure if they were potent while still young. I'm about to head back out and see what I can find ! Also bloodworm, for an experienced tripper, what dosage should I aim for?
Thank you for all your help!

I don't know about wild specimens and their alkaloid content, but for cultivated specimens that dose would certainly be enough. A long time ago I tripped pretty hard from 2.8 grams of fresh P. cyanescens. But 10g fresh should be a good dose anyway.

IMHO, they're probably enough for at least a retinal circus, if not a giggle factor... in my recollection from my time in FL, they're pretty strong. Those probably aren't enough for a full-fledged (level 3 or higher) trip, but would probably make an enjoyable couple hours (level 1-2.)
from joust's entry on the species:
Dosage [dried = fresh weight/10]:
Lvl.1 0.5g Lvl.2 0.8g Lvl.3 1.5g Lvl.4 2.0g Lvl.5 2.5g
--------------------
If a dolphin eats a cuttlefish or an octopus, does it trip?

Panaeolus cyanescens!!!
I live in N. Florida and see them more than other desirable types in the area.
I prefer these to most others actually.
