How bizarre.. me and my friends are all neck deep in ketamine, we went camping on Saturday and whilst sat around the fire and talking, we decided the exact same thing.
We've got a big group of us.. like 20 strong, so we're all gonna put money into a pot as an incentive.. if noone breaks we all get our money back..if someone fails it's lost to the pot. Last ones standing split the pot.
It's gonna be hard, but needs to happen before something really bad happens.

@JamesSpawned: I've notice the changes in my body with it and with out it and I like how my body feels without it. I have an extremely clean diet so it won't be so difficult but there is still plenty of items that I consume that contain gluten of some form, like beer.
@nicechrisman: I can see where you come from when you say is a fad, lately this whole go green has gotten media pretty good. It's quite overwhelming but at the same time, fad or not, I'm glad there is some sort of awareness, people are getting curious and that's a good thing.
Truth is we don't need gluten to survive so if is making more harm than help why not give it a shot?

I might consider joining you in abstaining from alcohol for the month (until the 31 anyways), but I'll be cactusing and ganjaing it up at this fest in a couple weeks.

Where I live now, I haven't met a single one. It's kinda a fashionable dietary thing right now. Not to say the celiac's isn't a real disease because it is, but all these hippies that are all like "gluten is evil" are just falling for another fad.
Yeah.. Coeliac disease is most definitely real.. I've got it. If I ate a piece of bread I'd be able to shit through the eye of a needle (and thats just the beginning)..
Once you get used to the dietary restrictions.. it's not that bad, as diets go, and it forces me to conscious of what I actually eat. I was diagnosed 10 years ago or so.

HOLY! I think the hardest part will be to stick to my practice, even thought my family doesn't really support my efforts. It's allot easier when all the parties are in the same page =P
I was diagnosed with it when I was 2 but they never did anything about it, so I am actually very curious to see how my body reacts to the change.
