This is my first mushroom grow and I know I'm going to screw up . I ran out of jars so I had to bag up half the popcorn put in the fridge and inoculate the rest of it the next day. The popcorn I put in the fridge for about 24 had no contamination's and the ones I did not 50% got contaminated. Anybody know why ?

Yes, cold temps slow growth of almost all living things. Contaminants as well as mushroom mycelium.

If the refrigerator was the only difference, expect to see contamination in those within a day or two. RR

Being that only 50% of the non-refrigerated jars got contaminated, is it possible that the needle picked up contaminants between jars, and that if you properly sterilized before inoculating all of the refrigerated substrate that it could have a 100% success, or is that unlikely?

It is more likely that the bag with contaminate when brought out of the colder environment. Popcorn IMO is really hard to use properly. I always get it to wet, or to dry. I hope you have more success with WBS.
Good Luck

Could be because I was extra careful with that last batch.
