So Ive read a lot about both, but which do experienced users like? which is more consistant in potency? how do the trips differ?

Bridgesii is more consistent in potency
Both have the same active ingredients ...

yeah but from what I've been reading they have different and different levels of other psychoactive chemicals which make the trips have each their own unique trip like san pedro vs. peyote is different etc.

bridgesii is more consistent and more potent. Torch is more like pure mescaline due to less alkaloids. Bridge is a "fuller" experience and is more relaxing in my experience. Its hard to describe the differences but they are both nice and if you can you should try both.

Bridgesii makes me trip for so long. I don't know if it's because of a higher mescaline content or because of different alkaloids, but Bridgesii goes on for at least 18 hours with me. My torch experiences all leveled off around 12h.

Bridgessi gives you some great visuals. I remember one night when I looked in the parking lot, all the cars were floating on a wavering dark-green sea .

I've got frozen syrup with 1 foot of bridgesii, 40 grams of Peruvian torch dried and 40 grams of San Pedro dried. I wonder what the effects will be like.

It's more comfortable if you remove the spines first.
OP- bridgesii is definitely more reliable as far as what is commonly available in the online market.

it has been suspected (not proven) that bridgesii may contain a natural maoi that may lend to why it's generally considered a more reliable raw material.

Wow that goes to show how variable san pedro concentrations are. I have had a weak trip and good body high from just 10 inches. At least now you probably have some experience with de-skinning it and the whole process of things.

Use PT or SP for this method:
http://www.erowid.org/plants/cacti/cacti_preparation5.shtml
It is called Chimora closest thing you are going to get to peyote without actually getting real peyote buttons, synthetic mescaline has nothing on this oOHnatural method.

Actually in my little experience there's no qualitative difference between the effects of bridgesii and San Pedro. Bridgesii requires less material, and also tastes even more bitter which indicates it has more mescaline per gram of tissue

eat it whole. Dried up whole cactus bits. It's way more efficient than any tea or extract
