Is your house temp to hot? You'll be doing good if your around 74-80 That's the temp my tubs sit at, and they get pretty

You could theoretically fruit at 55f but things would move slow.

i was gonna start a new thread on this, however i searched and found this one not so old.
im currently using a ceramic space heater in a small area that is approximately, 4 feet long, by 2 feet wide, by 3 feet tall. i am using this both for my FAE as well as heat. this area is in an uninsulated area. being that its getting cold, will probaly be kicking on the heat for the whole house via the oil burner. when doing so, usualy keep the house in the 60-65 range. however, when really cold it sometimes dips down to 55. ive read accounts of tubs being slow at that temp, but, otherwise, not affecting much else such as yield or producing aborts. however, im curious on to the validity of such claims.
last year i used an older model space heater that didnt have a specific temperature thermostat on it, and was basically on constantly in a fairly small Martha. it turned off time to time. there was a significant raise in the electric bill however i cant remember what it was. at the moment, i have this newer model space heater with a temp gauge and eco function and it seems to turn off for a good amount of time before kicking on again. thermometer in my space fluctuates from 66 to 72 as i have the heater set for 68.
im trying to figure out which option is more viable for me financially throughout the winter as, in this small space, its easier to keep the temperatures up. but i wonder also, if the air generated by the ceramic heater is more of a dry air and possibly will choke out my tubs. when consolidating and short time after putting into fruiting conditions the surface of the sub is still glistening with tiny water droplets. that has since passed in my oldest tub, and ive gotten some aborts along with it. ive since started misting once every few hours, or less. i might be over thinking it, but i wonder if the small space is causing a lack of FAE. i fruited my furthest along tub just about 2 weeks ago now.

I can't imagine why one heater would affect the humidity over any other provided the same output.
