A Magical Elixer!

Greetings fellow Shroomerites!
I have come across a wonderful item!
(Background info) An "Elixer of long life" From a recipe aquired by the monks Carthusian Order in Paris in 1605.
A Secret distil process and blend, which is comprised of 130 herbs and flowers reputed to have medicinal qualities. It was eventually perfected in 1737 by Father Jerome Maubec who named it what it is called.
Only a small amount is suggested; as it is stored in 69% Alc. (138 Proof) - A potent extract blend.
A few drops on a cube of sugar, in a glass of warm water (hot toddy), by itself, or with a little water sweetened with sugar.
Used to overcome tiredness, sickness, and as a "Pick-me-up" or as I was told, to "keep on top of the world".
I have to store it in this wooden container, as it is apparently very light sensitive; and it must be used to ensure it's potency.
------- How is it?
Awesome! does it work? Hell yes!
It's extremely pungent, but maintains some odd qualities; you can not feel it, no weight; it instantly numbs your mouth; so all you get is the aroma.... which is extremely earthy, but pleasant!
On psychedelics it enhances the experience; wonderful head rushes, the aromas are almost euphoric.

How do you get it? No clue.
Apparently it can not be sold here legally, it's some sort of bring-over from one of the actual salesmen; and he's trying to get rid of the last bottles apparently somewhat desperately, so I am doing my best to aquire them!

Bottle fits in your hand. like a grenade.

Elixir Végétal de la Grande-Chartreuse (138 proof or 69%) The same base of about 130 medicinal and aromatic plants and flowers; far stronger. It can be described as a cordial or a liqueur, and is claimed to be a tonic. Sold in small wooden-covered bottles.

Quote:
In Ted Conover's book Whiteout, Conover is asked to deliver five bottles of green Chartreuse to Hunter Thompson, but is turned down by Airport Liquors in Aspen because Thompson had already bought all the Chartreuse they had in stock.

I found out how it's made - http://www.chartreuse.fr/;article;66;uk.html and a store to purchase it - http://www.cocktailkingdom.com/product-p/btr_chartreuxx_0100_evt.htm
but the US site has run out so its gotta be purchased from the UK for $40 (10 for the product, 30 for shipping) http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-3207.aspx

Looks like they sell it at the liquor stores here, but it's $30 for a 375 ml bottle.

Aside from me and my buddies passing it around while we were all on a small amount of mushrooms, not really.
I sip it occasionally... it's... delicious.
But when you're high, we all took about 12 drops before we went on a bike ride, and I swear I could feel it taint my experience for the better.
