In pictures 7 & 8, it looks as though you've come across some sterile libs. Notice the different white colour of the gills compared to the darker grey/purple gills on the rest of 'em. A cool uncommon find
They are likely to produce no spores, but potentcy seems to be unaffected.

Thanks!
Yes, that's a sterile specimen; that's why I shot these close ups. They're a cool find; about 1 in a 1000 in my experience. There were a handful more sterile specimens growing in the immediate vicinity.

They weighed in at 210 grams. I don't know how many mushrooms that is.
Nice! Its about 500
You should edit your cow photos and mask the id tag on their ears, it can be used to find your pasture...
Close man real close! I've tested this. It takes 20-22 libs to make a gram so 20 grams is between 400-440 libs.
And great find Koraks! Its nice to see you post!!

A few years ago I made over 10 measurements and calculated the mean values... libs are between 20/g and 30/g depending on size, therefore 25/g is very reasonable for a mixed size collection. But it seems like koraks has a lot of big specimens so I can agree on 20/g for this collection.

There were lots of little ones, too, though. I'm really not sure how many there were in total. A couple of handfuls, that's for sure. That's about all I need to know

Lucky! I don't think we have those in Japan but the pics are useful in identifying active species. Yes I'd agree hide those numbers on the ear tags.
