Kats vs Dawgs

What do you people prefer? Cats or Dogs? They both have pros and cons of course... Cats are low-maintenence, use their own damn bathrooms, Easy as hell to entertain, have no problem being neglected, so they're ideal pets for people who're always busy and on the run....but on the downside, they can be assholes with dangerous claws, and are a spawns of Satan when it comes to giving them baths...although I do know some cats that actually like water...
Dogs are very loving, loyal, protective, fun as hell, can actually DO work for you, be it herding sheep or helping blind people, Ideal pets for loners, who need loving and caring companions, and can live quite a long, long time...depending on how well you take care of it of course...and for the downsides of dogs, they can be nuisances when it comes to potty training, and are liable to chew up everything that fits in their mouth, be it a pair of 150 dollar shoes or the corner of the sofa, some have excessive-barking problems that can drive people to the brink of insanity, and are more dangerous when they get pissed, (pitbulls, etc) But, theres no such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners...
So, what would I prefer? well, I'm an owner of a dog right now, very precious Lhasa-Ahspo, otherwise known as the Tibetan Terrier, and wouldnt give her up for anything in the world, but If I were to choose a pet after my dog right now, I"d choose a cat, simply because I know it'd be more financially smart, being that i'll have moved out and be truckin alot, so I would need an independent creature....but after that, I'd probably go back to dogs, and maybe alternate again and so on.... What about yall?

I like dogs, they have intellegence and they arent smug about it like cats are. They are more humble and they are dependant on companionship to be normal and healthy, I like having things around to give my energy up to.

dogs are waaay better..for me at least. man's best friend for real. i like big strong happy dogs too, ones you can wrestle with and play hard with. small dogs are cool too, but for me they'd have to be energetic like the jack russel dogs. i think that's their name, a terrier of some sort. cats are just kinda boring to me. unless you get the hyper ones that aren't afraid of every little thing, but those kind are hard to find.

That was always my problem with cats. I don't like how they are afraid of every little thing. (At least the cats I know)
Maybe I just have bad Juju with cats or something...
I prefer dogs though.
Bulldogs have to be one of my favorites. They are sooo nice and relaxed. They are nothing like what their appearance would lead you on to believe. I had Bulldogs the whole time I was growing up and I've never seen anybody bitten by one.
Very cool.

i have two cats right now...i like them because they take care of themselves, but they are bitches because they never come to their name, and they ignore you, and they decide when they want to be pet...but when they do want to be pet, it's sweet cuz they are fuzzy and warm. When I get my own house though, i will definetly get a dog...hopefully a bull mastiff or a new foundlander...both huge dogs that slobber, but my brothers bull mastiff pisses himself everytime he gets excited so....

In my experience the sexual deviances of these two species differ:
Male dogs hump my leg.
Female cats lie down right in front of my feet, then they raise their tail and purr and meow loudly.
I have never been sexually harassed by a female dog or a male cat, though...

The best of both = A Jack Russel Tarrier. They're smart, learn to piss outside early, they don't eat a lot cuz they is small, and they are just cool. I gots 2 of them- a boy and a girl (boyfriend and girlfriend).

Everytime I see a chihuahua, a papillon, or a Yorkshire terrier, I think to myself: why can't they breed tiny llamas like that so people can keep them in apartments?

I must admit that if they breed tiny llamas... well... I'd probably have to get one.
