Rye berry question

If i were making my own qt jars of rye berries, would it be of benefit to add a large amount of powdered wbs to the mix. My thinking is that it wont take up as much space as it would in seed form because the flower can coat the rye berries. There would be double the nutes! would this work or am i just really stoned

couldnt you just add an extra shake or two during colonizing to combat that? i mean wbs and rye berries both colonize fast so i imagine the extra shaking could increase total colonization time by a few days, if the shaking would keep it usable

so... the constant agitation plus added nutes would most likely stall growth, increasing colonization time...
however, if you want to experiment (which I highly recommend); make normal grain jars, and one or two with the birdseed flour; that way you can compare and contrast which will work better for you
also, you'll have some jars to work with that won't have a high probability of being a pain in the ass to work with

You fish much, stevo?

In the late Cretaceous period, the first Cannabis species appear, and soon after, all the non-bird dinosaurs disappeared. Obviously, marihuana killed the dinosaurs. That giant meteor that smacked the yucatan peninsula right afterwards, coincidence.

If you live in west tennessee, I am pretty sure I know you. Otherwise, never mind.

Excess starch in jars promotes bacterial contamination. Burst grains are undesirable, ground seeds even more so.
