It's a tough one, i'd take the Stealers I guess, but a guess is all it is. Both teams are bad this year.

Oh man, if Pittsburgh loses to the Vikings who are not playing their starting QB....then the season is truly lost.
I can't complain though, still. Seeing your team win 2 SB's and make a 3rd one in a 7 year span is about as good as it gets as a football fan. I still remember the Kordell years.

You weren't born during the REAL dark years of Denver...
And yes, seeing your team shit the bed season after season increases your threshold for sucky seasons. I've been through the worst. Bubby Brister mother fucker.

True, I guess I dont have as drastic of a perspective as yours.
Atleast you got to watch Barry Sanders every week.

It was amazing how he damn near single handily carried that franchise in the 90's. They would put out a few decent supporting players here and there along side of him (Herman Moore for one) but for the most part the rosters were still devoid of talent, and somehow Barry was still able to will them into the wildcard for half of the 90's.
But then once they got in, the opposing team would just load up the box with their entire gameplan being contain Barry and fuck everybody else. Because they knew nobody else on the team could beat them. Lions won 1 playoff game with Barry and lost every single one of the rest. First round exit after first round exit.
Then he finally said enough of this shit, I'm out. It was fun while it last, though.

Yeuuuh thank god for that right....
My first real football memory is my mom rocking her elway jerseys after the back to back bowls.
but bro you cant act like being a pittsburgh fan is that rough though, probably the most blessed franchise in the NFL. Never really had beautiful QB play but holy shit that run game and defense is enough to make me get a chub. Fuck all that pretty shit, i would much prefer a grimy in your face team to a cutesy patriot type team.
NOw my boy niffla, i feel some sympathy for
The old lions when i was in my early childhood had to be alot like the vikes now days.........

Are you talking about Bens looks or his talent?
I think he is an amazing QB, one of the best in the league. Is def underrated because he doesnt post the kind of stats that you expect from an elite QB, but he keeps plays alive like no other. If it werent for Ben, the steelers would not have two recent superbowl wins. I think he was responsible for getting them to those games.
He also helped me win my FF championship last year, so theres a little personal sentiment

I hope he does figure his shit out. maybe Bell will add something to the offense that allows the WRs to have more success. A. Brown has the 5th most receiving yards in the league. I see that trend continuing should they figure out the pass protection.

so is tomlin in danger of losing his job if they continue doing so amazingly shitty this year?
I never thought he was a phenomenal coach, just had a phenomenal team.
for the most winningest SB team ever, I have to think that winning a ring doesn't carry as much weight as it would in New Orleans, where Sean Payton can have back to back defeated seasons and still keep his job.
