Looking for input
    #18904071 - 09/28/13 07:06 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Alrighty, so this is my first grow and I used a kit. After the entire substrate was well colonized I added the casing kit element and continued care as directed. So, there is pinning of obvious Cubes happening in the central area but I actually got a few larger white mushrooms at one of the corners. The first is a picture of the large white mushrooms up close; the second is my happy cubes pinning on the other side of the box, and the fourth image shows where they (the white bastards) are coming up from the corners.

Please tell my Im not doomed :frown:

Pluteus species are common contaminants of peat moss. Just eat the cubes and throw the pluteus away.

Or could also be macro lepiota or lepiota. Either way. Don't eat them. The cubes will be obvious. Less than ideal but hey, it's ur first grow. U did a lot better than some.
